ABOUT THE ARTIST
Cyril Doisneau was born in 1978 in Nantes, France. Passionate about drawing from an early age, Cyril studied graphic design, and then fine art. He was awarded the 2002 Young Talent Competition at the Angoulême International Comics Festival. In 2006, he discovered Montréal and has lived there ever since. Several of his books are published by La Pastèque, and you can regularly find his illustrations in various magazines. Carnets de bouffe, his latest book, brings together chronicles of restaurants in Montreal and Quebec in comic form. Cyril is currently working on a children’s book. Visit his website to learn more!
