Isabelle Arsenault

Isabelle Arsenault is a celebrated and prolific illustrator. Alternately working in pencil, watercolor, collage, and digital coloration, her sensitive style conveys a warmth and emotion that speaks equally to children and adults. Isabelle has won the prestigious Governor General’s Literary Award three times, for Le Coeur de Monsieur Gauguin (Children’s Literature, French – Illustration, 2005), for Virginia Wolf (Children’s Literature, English – Illustration, 2012), and for Jane, the Fox & Me (Children’s Literature, French – Illustration, 2013); and has twice been a finalist (for My Letter to the World and Migrant).
