Pooka IV is a giclée print of an original work in collage by Marianne Chevalier, originally created during her 2009 artist residency at the Glasgow Print Studio in Scotland. The Pooka is a celtic mythological creature that Marianne interpreted in her own style. Each 13×19 inch archival quality giclée print is a signed and numbered limited edition, printed with pigment-based inks on acid free cotton rag fine art paper.
This is a limited edition print run of 25 prints per size – once the print run is sold out, this print will be retired forever. So if you love it, buy it now! Unframed. More info on our prints here.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Marianne Chevalier composes collage imagery from an inventory of ancient engravings and found textures. Her collages often feature semi-abstract characters that seem to be drawn from mythological tales. Once her collages are complete, she screen prints them with vibrant colours onto cotton paper or wood panels. Marianne has received many awards for her work in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
